Miss Minchin is the headmaster of the seminary. She is strict, cranky and hated Sara's guts. She isn't sincere and shows-off the show pupils to attract other parents to enroll their children. All she cared about was money and the reputation of her seminary.
Lavinia is the oldest student in the seminary and was Miss Minchin's show-pupil before Sara came, and because Sara became the show-pupil when she arrved, she became jealous and from then on, hated Sara, just like Miss Minchin

Miss Amelia is the younger child of Miss Minchin, and she always appears inferior to her sister. She actually has a very soft heart, but Miss Minchin is influencing her.
The Large family is headed by Mr.Carmichael, who si the lawyer of Mr. Carrisford. Mrs. Carmichael is stout with rosy cheeks, just like the grandparents and had many children. The children keep Mr. Carrisford company sometimes.
Anne is the poor beggar girl who received the buns given by Sara. At the end of the story, she was adopted by the baker and Sara appointed her to give bread to the poor and list the dues for Sara to pay.
